I am always really grateful to those who recommend me on Follow Friday but I have never been able to choose between the many of you that I follow.  So rather than tweet lists of the people I recommend I have come up with my own alternative to FollowFriday. 

I have started a FollowFriday list and the criteria for inclusion is

• I have met that person so I can vouch that they are real, and
• I follow and enjoy their tweets. 

The list can be found here.  The list is ongoing so if you aren't included please don't take it as a personal affront!

Thanks to Andy Crichton for helping me work out how to include Mention Map on this page - another example of the helpful nature of social media.  It is a wonderful visualisation of your Twitter network - click on any of the links and more details emerge.  I find them hypnotic.
